WHAT IS ΔE?
ΔE (Delta E) is a standard color science metric that measures the perceptual distance between two colors in CIELAB color space. A ΔE of 0 means the colors are identical. A ΔE under 5 is barely noticeable. A ΔE over 25 is obviously different. Your score is calculated as: max(0, 10000 × (1 - ΔE/50))
